Funny thing is Stephen…. I was just about to write the same thing!
I just tried out Skydrive… in it’s favour it does seem to work relatively fast (which makes a change for Microsoft). But I am still holding out for the illusive ‘GDrive’ from Google which is hopefully coming soon.
It will no doubt be so much better than anything Microsoft can produce!
I use Google Docs all the time too

Also achievable with Google Apps – education edition advert free. Our primary school has just migrated to this. All school adults and children can have personal email address @xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.sch.uk. Plus documents stored on line accessible from home and school plus provision for shared editing plus many other things.
Google might be approaching Microsoft in Evil Empire stakes but at present I would contend morally preferable!
