My Chalkface Resources

My Chalkface provide lots of learning resources and photocopiables for preschool, Early Years and KS1 pupils.

A large number of the resources are free (although registration is required before downloading files) and some cost a small amount… the most expensive resources that I’ve seen so far are 10 pence!

They cover lots of different topics and are very easy to find… it’s a very useful site for teachers of younger pupils. My Chalkface is now included in the TeachrSearch results too!

  1. Here’s another great resource for teachers.

MEET ME AT THE CORNER, Virtual Field Trips for Kids (www.meetmeatthecorner.org)

This series of virtual field trips is being distributed over the Internet as video pod casts on our web site http://www.meetmeatthecorner.org

Each video is linked to fun websites and a Learning Corner of questions and extended activities. New episodes are uploaded every two weeks.

Take a virtual field trip to San Diego. Tag along with the young host Robert who interviews a veteran who served on the USS MIDWAY. Learn about the history of aircraft carriers and what life is like on this floating city.
