Over the past month, I’ve been busy building a new site to add to my collection of Teaching Websites. The new site is called Teaching Appz and it’s a directory of educational apps that can be used in the classroom.
At present, there are over 100 apps on the site, all of which are organised by subject, age range and device so you can easily find apps that can be used in your classroom. Currently supported devices include iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and Android, as well as a number of useful web apps. It can be difficult to find good quality apps amongst the many thousands in the various App Stores, so I’m keen to develop the site into a useful guide to the quality education apps that are available.
