Send My Friend to School

Schools across the UK are calling on world leaders to keep their promise to get all children into school by 2015. Since world leaders agreed the Millennium Development Goal of education for all there has been real progress, and millions more children around the world are benefiting from the opportunities that education can offer. But 67 million are still missing out, so the ‘Send My Friend to School‘ campaign has been set up to support students and teachers who want the government to keep its promise. The campaign offers a wide range of free resources on their website which offer learners the chance to engage with the issue across the curriculum, with links to English, PSHE, Citizenship and Geography, and to learn more about political processes by contacting their local MP.
