		</p><p>How do you feel about having a code of conduct for teachers? The <a id="aptureLink_CovqPmK1Zl" href="http://www.gtce.org.uk/">General Teaching Council</a> says that teachers must &#8220;maintain reasonable standards in their own behaviour that enable them to uphold public trust and confidence in the profession&#8221;.</p>
<p>However, the <a id="aptureLink_pQYGUmXf5w" href="http://www.nasuwt.org.uk/">NASUWT</a> union has started a petition against this, because they feel that it intrudes into teachers&#8217; private lives.
